Einsicht, I) eig.; z.B. Ei. von etwas nehmen, s. (etwas) einsehen no. I. – II) übtr.: intellegentia, nachaug. intellectus (Verstand, dadurch erlangter Überblick u. deutliche Kenntnis, in etw., alcis rei). – prudentia. sapientia (Klugheit, Weisheit, höhere Ei.). – consilium (die Überlegung, Besonnenheit und die Eingebungen derselben). – iudicium (Urteilskraft; dann das auf Kenntnis begründete Urteil). – scientia (das Wissen, oft verb. scien tia et copia, Eins. u. Kenntnisse). – cognitio (Erkenntnis, deutliche Kenntnis u. Einsicht, die man sich in einer Sache erworben hat, in etw., alcis rei). – sanitas (Gesundheit des Geistes = Vernünftigkeit, vernünftige Einsicht, Vernunft). – tiefere Ei., altior intellectus od. prudentia; iudicium subtile. – Mangel an Ei., imprudentia. – ein Mann von vieler Ei, vir prudentissimus; vir multi od. magni consilii; vir consilii plenus: ein Mann von tiefer Ei., homo subtilis iudicii: seiner Ei. entgeht nichts, nihil est, quod non perspiciat: nach meiner Ei., s. Dafürhalten (das): nach bester Ei. (urteilen etc.), ex animi sententia: mit Ei., intellegenter; sapienter; prudenter. – Ei. haben, besitzen, intellegentiā valere od. praestare (große); est alci sanitas (richtige): Verstand u. Ei. besitzen, rationis et intellegentiae participem esse: gründliche Einsicht besitzen, prudenter intellegere (z.B. von einem Redner): tiefe Ei. besitzen, altā mente praeditum esse: mehr Ei. besitzen als jmd., plus quam alqs habere prudentiae; plus intellegere et sapere quam alqs: keine Ei. haben, ohne Ei. sein, esse nullius consilii: zur Ei. zurückkehren, ad sanitatem redire od. reverti: zur Ei. bringen, ad sanitatem perducere od.
