Ревальвация
1. Повышение курса одной валюты относительно курсов других валют в условиях системы плавающих валютных курсов. Ревальвация приводит к удешевлению импорта и удорожанию экспорта, что способствует росту импортных поставок и свертыванию экспортных. В результате сокращается профицит платежного баланса и валютные резервы. Успех политики ревальвации (см. Revaluation) зависит от того, как объем экспорта и импорта среагирует на изменение относительных цен, т.е. на ценовую эластичность спроса на экспорт и импорт. Если спрос неэластичен, объем торговли сильно не изменится, а ревальвация фактически будет способствовать увеличению профицита платежного баланса. Если спрос эластичен, тогда изменение объема внешней торговли поможет уменьшить профицит. Равновесие платежного баланса восстановится, если суммарная эластичность экспорта и импорта будет больше единицы. (см. Marshall-Lerner condition). 2. Прирост стоимости основного капитала. Увеличение стоимости основного капитала (зданий и сооружений) вследствие инфляции и удорожания земельных участков. Может также увеличиваться стоимость краткосрочных активов, таких как ценные бумаги. В этом случае восстановительная стоимость (см. Replacement cost) активов становится выше их первоначальной стоимости (см. Historic cost), поэтому активы необходимо периодически переоценивать, приводя их балансовую стоимость в соответствие с рыночной (см. Inflation accounting). Прирост стоимости материально-производственных запасов
Увеличение рыночной стоимости запасов за определенный период времени в результате инфляции. В балансовом отчете компании товарные запасы обычно учитываются по их более низкой чистой реализационной стоимости net realizable value (сумма, которую можно было бы выручить при продаже запасов за вычетом издержек реализации), а не по восстановительной стоимости (см. Replacement cost). Это приводит к тому, что прибыль завышается, и компания вынуждена платить чрезмерно высокие налоги. Когда экономическая ситуация в стране характеризуется снижением цен (см. Deflation 1), происходит снижение рыночной стоимости материально-производственных запасов (stock depreciation). Удорожание запасов необходимо также учитывать в счетах национального дохода. Государственные статистические учреждения сталкиваются со сложной проблемой исключения суммы прироста из конечных расчетов, чтобы показать только реальное увеличение стоимости запасов. См.
