[лат. bi — двойной, двоякий, двух и urina — моча; лат. re- — приставка, обозначающая повторность действия и actio — действие]метод качественного и количественного определения белков и продуктов их частичного гидролиза в биологических жидкостях (крови, моче), экстрактах тканей, клеток и др., заключающийся в обнаружении и колориметрии (см. колориметр) фиолетового или красного окрашивания, появляющегося при наличии белка в результате добавления к исследуемой пробе сульфата меди.
