сокр. АР[лат. agglutinatio — приклеивание; re- — приставка, обозначающая повторность действия и actio — действие]способ обнаружения и количественного определения антител (см. антитела) и антигенов (см. антиген), основанный на их способности к образованию видимых невооруженным глазом агломератов (см. агглютинация). А.р. используется в диагностике инфекционных болезней для идентификации неизвестных микробов и клеток, для определения присутствия и количества антител (см. антитела) в сыворотке крови и др. жидкостях. Принцип определения основан на нахождении известного по неизвестному. Существует много вариантов А.р.: количественные и качественные, пробирочные и на стекле, объемные и капельные, обычные ускоренные и экспресс-методы. Впервые А.р. была описана у бактерий А. Шарреном и Ж. Роже в 1890 г. К. Ландштейнер в 1901 г. впервые обнаружил, что плазма крови одних людей способна агглютинировать (склеивать) эритроциты других людей (Нобелевская премия за 1930 г.).Толковый биотехнологический словарь.
