2 Drittes Programm
Третья программа, телеканал федеральной земли. В настоящее время насчитывается девять земельных телеканалов. Вещание осуществляют общественно-правовые земельные телерадиокомпании. Каждая третья программа имеет своё название, например, в Баварии – "Баварское телевидение" (Bayerisches Fernsehen), в Бремене – "Радио Бремен ТВ" (Radio Bremen TV). Это информационно-развлекательные каналы, ориентированные на свои федеральные земли и учитывающие их самобытность. Общее название "третьи" (Dritte Programme) связано с тем, что на момент их создания в 1960е-1970е гг. в Германии имелось два телеканала – АРД и ЦДФ. Первой в 1964 г. начала вещание баварская третья программа.
