(ставка первоклассного заемщика) Процентная ставка, по которой американские банки кредитуют первоклассных заемщиков. Операции по ставке первоклассного заемщика сходны с операциями по базовой ставке (base rate) в Великобритании. Конкуренция на рынках заставила многие банки, как в США, так и в Великобритании, предоставлять своим деловым клиентам кредиты по ставкам ниже ставок первоклассного заемщика. Основное различие в практике американских и британских банков заключается в том, что американская ставка первоклассного заемщика примерно равна трехмесячной Лондонской ставке предложения по межбанковским кредитам (London Inter Bank Offer Rate (LIBOR)), выраженной в долларах, плюс 1%; британская же базовая ставка примерно равна трехмесячной ставке LIBOR, выраженной в фунтах стерлингов. -
