Учение о зародышевом развитии организмов как процессе, осуществляемом путем последовательных новообразований (с отрицанием существования зачатков изначального многообразия, как это имеет место в учении о преформизме preformation theory); термин «Э» предложен У.Гарвеем в 1651, хотя подобные взгляды были известны в древности, в настоящее время концепции Э. представляют только исторический интерес; в генетике развития под Э. подразумевают наследование активности определенных генов в ряду поколений дифференцированных клеток.* * *1. В генетике развития в н.вр. сумма всех взаимодействий между генами и средой их функционирования, проявляющихся в процессе онтогенеза и в ряду дифференцированных клеток.2. Учение о зародышевом развитии организмов как процессе, осуществляемом путем последовательных новообразований, отрицающем развитие многообразных органов из их зачатков. Такое толкование термина предложил У. Гарвей в 1651 г., хотя подобные взгляды были известны и в древности.
