    Eigentum, patrimonium (das vom Vater ererbte Ei.; auch uneig. mit vorgesetztem tamquam vom geistigen etc. Ei.). – peculium (das kleine Ei., das der Sohn vom Vater, der Sklave vom Herrn zur eigenen Benutzung bekam; dann das daraus erworbene Geld). – possessiones. bona, ōrum,n. pl. (liegende Gründe). – fortunae (jmds. Habe). – proprietas (das Eigentumsrecht, w. s.). – Auch bezeichnen es die Lateinerdurch das allgemeineres (Sing. u. Plur.), z.B. erworbenes Ei., res partae: bewegliches Ei., res moventes; res, quae moveri possunt: [660] Ei. besitzen, rem habere. – oder sie drücken es durch proprius, a, um, auch verb. mit dem possessiven Pronomen proprius meus (tuus etc.) aus, ja oft durch das possessive Pronomen allein, z.B. das ist mein Ei., hoc meum od. meum proprium est: etw. für sein Ei. erklären, alqd suum dicere: etwas zu seinem Ei. machen, alqd suum facere: sein rechtmäßiges Ei. verkaufen, suum vendere: sein Ei. in Besitz nehmen, sua possidĕre: jmdm. etwas als Ei. geben, alqd proprium alci tradere: jmds. Ei. sein, werden, alcis esse; alcis fieri.
