Nota d'usoLa traduzione corretta del sostantivo politico è “politician”, non “politic” o “politic man”: È stato un grande politico, he was a great politician (non he was a great politic). L'aggettivo “politic”, infatti, viene usato raramente con il significato di politico, quasi esclusivamente per dire lo stato, the body politic. Viene invece abitualmente utilizzato l'aggettivo “political”: opinioni politiche, political views.
