1 physical weathering
выветривание физическое (механическое)
Происходит под воздействием колебания (повышения или понижения) температуры, замерзания или оттаивания воды в трещинах (особенно в полярных областях), деятельности животных и растений (сверление, рост корней и т.д.), испарения и кристаллизации солей, присутствующих в воде (инсоляционное В. пустынь) и приводит к дезинтеграции пород и минералов - образованию обломков разной величины.
