s També anomenat "blog" en anglès i "bitácora" en castellà, ve a ser una informació sobre qualsevol tema publicada a Internet per un "blogger" o autor de "weblogs". Pretén ser una espècie de "premsa alternativa" on tothom pot col·laborar amb les idees o notícies pròpies ("weblogs"). En castellà, poden trobar-se "weblogs" a http://www.titulares.com, http://www.barrapunto.com, http://www.bitacoras.net, i en anglès són ben conegudes http://www.slasdot.com o http://www.scriptingnews.com, entre moltes d'altres. Es tracta d'un fenòmen força recent però que està agafant força ràpidament. El terme "weblog" no té encara traducció al català, a no ser que usem la traducció del castellà "bitácora" que és bitàcola. -
