Повторяемый способ обработки определённой категории запросов на обслуживание. Модель запроса определяет согласованные шаги, которые будут выполняться для запроса на обслуживание этой категории. Модели запросов могут быть очень простыми, не требовать согласования (например, сброс пароля), или более сложными, с множеством шагов, требующих согласования (например, подключение существующей ИТ-услуги).

request model
(ITIL Service Operation)
A repeatable way of dealing with a particular category of service request. A request model defines specific agreed steps that will be followed for a service request of this category. Request models may be very simple, with no requirement for authorization (e.g. password reset), or may be more complex with many steps that require authorization (e.g. provision of an existing IT service).

Повторяемый способ обработки определённой категории изменений. Модель изменения определяет согласованные шаги, которые будут выполняться для изменения этой категории. Модели изменений могут быть очень сложными, с множеством шагов, требующих согласования (например, значительный релиз программного обеспечения) или очень простыми и не требовать согласования (например, сброс пароля).

Запрос от пользователя на предоставление чего-либо. Например, запрос на информацию или консультацию, сброс пароля или установку рабочей станции для нового пользователя. Управление запросами на обслуживание осуществляет процесс управления запросами на обслуживание, обычно – при содействии службы поддержки пользователей. В ходе обработки запросов на обслуживание они могут быть связаны с запросами на изменение.

A formal request from a user for something to be provided – for example, a request for information or advice; to reset a password; or to install a workstation for a new user. Service requests are managed by the request fulfilment process, usually in conjunction with the service desk. Service requests may be linked to a request for change as part of fulfilling the request.
