For at beskytte investorerne herimod kan der indbygges en covenant og/eller en put option i dokumentationen, således at udsteder, hvis obligationsejerne ønsker det, får pligt til at førtidsindfri obligationerne til pari, hvis hans rating forringes under et nærmere angivet niveau. -
