Контроль со стороны авторов проекта или проектной организации за соответствием создаваемого или строящегося объекта инженерно-техническим и социально-экономическим характеристикам, предусмотренным проектом. Авторский надзор осуществляется на протяжении всего периода осуществления, приемки и эксплуатации проектируемого объекта.
