(объективность) Качество, означающее способность к независимой проверке, в первую очередь в практике ведения счетов. Высказывалось мнение, что счета, составленные на базе цен приобретения (см.: historical accounting (учет по ценам)), являются объективными, а те, которые основываются на учете воздействия инфляции (inflation accounting), носят более субъективный характер. Однако подобные суждения упускают из виду значительные субъективные моменты, имеющие место при ведении счетов на базе цен приобретения, такие, как выбор метода оценки фондов, срока службы активов для расчета их амортизации и размеры сумм, резервируемых на случай неплатежей. -
