пищевые вещества, необходимые организму в малых количествах. Суточная потребность в М. часто измеряется долями граммов (миллиграммами и микрограммами). М. представлены витаминами, биоэлементами, некоторыми минеральными веществами и т.д. Они не являются источниками энергии, но участвуют в ее усвоении, а также в регуляции различных функций и осуществлении процессов роста и развития организма.
