Колебания с малой амплитудой и высокой частотой оси собственного вращения ротора гироскопа, определяющиеся взаимодействием инерционных и гироскопических моментов.
Примечание
Для свободного гироскопа с динамически симметричным ротором в безынерционном подвесе частота нутационных колебаний:
v = H/A,
где
H - величина собственного кинетического момента гироскопа;
А - момент инерции ротора относительно оси, ортогональной оси собственного вращения и проходящей через центр масс ротора.
