"Нэшнл джиографик"Ежемесячный иллюстрированный научно-популярный журнал, посвященный географии, путешествиям, достижениям науки и открытиям, а в последнее время - и социальным проблемам. Издается в г. Вашингтоне Национальным географическим обществом [ National Geographic Society] и призван, среди прочего, рассказывать об его деятельности и открытиях. Журнал многими считается коллекционным изданием благодаря высококачественным картам-вкладышам и фотографиям. В отличие от других журналов распространяется только по почте подписчикам, автоматически получающим статус члена общества. Основан в 1888. Главным редактором журнала в течение более полувека (1903-54) был Г. Гроувнор [ Grosvenor, Gilbert Hovey].
