Hell. 4, 4, 10. – In Antworten entspricht es ganz unserm ja; Plat. oft, ναί, ἀληϑῆ γε, Theaet. 193 a, u. öfter mit einem solchen einschränkenden γε, also nur vorläufig bejahend, wie auch bei uns auf allerdings oft ein ab er folgt und der Ton andeutet, daß die Bejahung nicht so stark und allgemein ist, freilich wohl, das wohl, ναί, κατὰ σχολήν γε ἴσως, Soph. 226 e, ναὶ στρατιωτικάς γε, ἀλλ' οὐ χρηματιστικάς, Rep. III, 415 e; Sp.; Plut. de esu carn. II, 999 b; ναὶ ναί dem οὔ, οὔ entggestzt, N. T.; auch sonst findet es sich doppelt, Ar. Nubb. 1451; Agath. 5 (V, 276). Vgl. übrigens νή u. μά.
