Nota d'usoL'aggettivo momentary significa “momentaneo”: a momentary lapse in concentration, un calo momentaneo della concentrazione; a momentary loss of consciousness, una temporanea perdita di conoscenza. L'aggettivo momentous invece non vuol dire “momentaneo”; ma “significativo, importante”: a momentous time, un momento importante; a momentous occasion, un'occasione importante.
