Выражение 1980-х гг., которое показывает негативное отношение к некоторым членам британской лейбористской партии, в частности, к членам так называемой Militant Tendency («Боевая тенденция»), поддерживающим крайние левые политические взгляды. Выражение появилось во время раскола лейбористской партии и ассоциируется с попытками тогдашнего лидера Нила Киннока приостановить деятельность и влияние Militant Tendency для того, чтобы укрепить шансы партии на приближающихся выборах. -
