    Метод прогнозирования будущих событий (например, инноваций, инфляции) группой экспертов в ходе совместного обсуждения проблемы. Состоит в организации систематического сбора экспертных оценок, их математико-статистической обработке, корректировке экспертами своих оценок на основе каждого цикла обсуждения. При этом используется строгая процедура обмена мнениями, обеспечивающая по возможности беспристрастность выводов и получение относительно надежной информации в условиях ее острой недостаточности.
