Система аккредитации представителей СМИ призвана обеспечить беспрепятственный и безопасный доступ большого количества сотрудников ОВС, управомоченных вещателей, прессы и фотожурналистов на Олимпийские и Паралимпийские игры. От успешной организации аккредитации зависит качество других услуг, предоставляемых СМИ.

Accreditation system for the media ensures smooth and secure access for the large numbers of OBS personnel, rights holding broadcasters and written and photographic press at the Olympic and Paralympic Games. The success of other media services depends on good management of accreditation.
