(счисление ведётся в соответствии с движением Луны, которая делает полный оборот вокруг Земли прибл. за 29 суток; этот промежуток времени принимается за месяц, к-рый содержит 29 или 30 дней; тот момент, когда Луна полностью исчезает на небе, а затем начинает нарастать снова, называется новолунием, которое является началом нового месяца; для согласования лунных месяцев с солнечным годом установлен определённый порядок прибавления семи дополнительных месяцев на протяжении 19 лет; дополнительный месяц вставлен перед месяцем нисан и называется второй адар, или адар бет; поэтому еврейский календарь можно назвать лунно-солнечным ( lunisolar calendar), поскольку он построен с учётом движения как Луны вокруг Земли, так и Земли вокруг Солнца) the Jewish calendarмесяцы еврейского календаря, праздники и памятные даты в том или ином месяце:—тишрей (30 дней; праздники: 1-2 тишрея - Рох-хашана, еврейский Новый год, 10 тишрея - Йом-кипур, 15-22 тишрея - Суккот, 23 тишрея - Симхат Тора) — Tishri
