טִגְרוֹס, טִגְרֵסm. (tigris, t. Sm. Ant. s. v.) tiger. Ḥull.59b ט׳ אריהוכ׳ the tiger is the lion of Be-Ilai (the mountains of interior Asia), i. e. what the lion is in other regions. -
