I a 1. Русскому в последний раз соответствуют словосочетания for the last time, the last time или наречие last:

We are leaving, so we meet today for the last time — Мы уезжаем, так что мы видимся в последний раз.

The last time I saw him was ten years ago —

I don't remember when I saw him last — Я не помню, когда его видел в последний раз.

last time — в прошлый раз,

    last night — вчера вечером,

last year (month) — в прошлом году (месяце),

last Sunday — в прошлое воскресенье.

(3). Русским в (за) последние дни (недели, годы) в английском соответствуют выражения during/in/for the last few (two, three) days (weeks, years). (4).

They met, he said, the weekend before — Он сказал, что они виделись в прошлый выходной.

She remembered the quarrel of the previous week (of the week before) — Она вспомнила ссору, произошедшую на прошлой неделе.

    (5). See easy, a (1). (6). See late, a (2). (7). See afternoon, n. II adv в прошлый раз See last, a (1).
