Ведет свое название от первого слова средневековой латинской молитвы, читаемой перед началом мессы ("Возвеселитесь", Ис. 66:10). Это воскресенье является как бы параллелью к третьему воскресенью Рождественского поста. Каждое из них находится посредине периода поста и символизирует краткосрочное уменьшение его торжественности.2) ♦ ( ENG Gaudete Sunday)(от лат. - радоваться)третье воскресенье Рождественского поста. Свое название берет от первого слова средневековой латинской молитвы, открывающей мессу, - "Радуйтесь" (Флп. 4:4).
