    A) C'est le seul nom en -qui (Cf. Launey l54-55) tiré non d'un parfait mais d'un futur.
    B) tiré de 'maca' qui à date classique comme bitransitif avec le sens de 'donner' (Cf. Launey 172) ne présente néanmoins qu'un seul préfixe objet.
    Le sens doit être 'qui doit fournir, pourvoir', à moins qu'à date ancienne 'maca' n'ait eu un autre sens.
    U.Dyckerhoff 1970, 186 propose comme étymologie 'tlamacaz', pft. de 'îmacaci', tener respecto o temor reverencial, ce qui résoudrait les difficultés signalées par Launey.
