Derimod vil der ikke være adgang til oplysningerne for andre afdelinger, hvor oplysningerne kunne røbe kundens position. Det kunne medvirke til, at kunden fik en dårligere service (pris), end han ellers ville have fået. Ved på denne måde at indkapsle interessekonflikter kan institutionen betjene kunden på flere områder med ellers indbyrdes uforenelige interesser.
