A plain weave open-mesh fabric made of fine jute yarns used for bags for onions, etc. Also pasted on to paper for making strong waterproof material. Made about 5 to 7 porter, 6 to 8 shots per inch. Warp and weft 7-lb. to 9-lb. per spyndle. -
