Обмен
1. Товарный обмен (product swap) - обмен одного товара на другой. См. Barter. 2. Процентный своп (interest-rate swap). Соглашение об обмене процентными платежами по кредитам, разным по условиям, но одинаковым по сумме в одной валюте. Например, компания, имеющая обязательства с плавающей процентной ставкой, ожидает ее повышения. Другая компания, имеющая обязательства с фиксированной ставкой, предполагает, что процентные ставки упадут. Вторая компания заключает соглашение с первой компанией о том, что платежи ей будут производиться на основе плавающей ставки, а в обмен она будет получать платежи на основе фиксированной ставки. Процентный своп может осуществляться одновременно с разными долговыми обязательствами, что позволяет управляющим финансами корпораций снижать общие процентные выплаты. 3. Валютный своп (currency swap). Купля-продажа иностранной валюты на условиях немедленной поставки (см. Spot market) с одновременным заключением обратных форвардных сделок (см. Futures market). Целью валютного свопа является страхование валютного риска (см. Exchange rate exposure). -
