сокр IQСравнительный показатель интеллектуального развития личности, определяемый формулой IQ = MA:CA x 100, где MA - "умственный возраст" [mental age] (выводится путем тестирования умственных способностей [ intelligence test]), а CA - реальный возраст опрошенного [chronological age]. За средний показатель интеллектуального развития принимается 100. В соответствии с результатами производится распределение учащихся по группам, а в средней школе - по профилям обучения. Применяется также в армии.
