сводный (агрегатный) индекс, применяемый при международных сопоставлениях.Это средняя относительных величин, характеризующих изменение уровня явлений, которые непосредственно не могут быть сравнимы. При международных сопоставлениях строится на основе аналитической и синтетической концепций. Сводный индекс в соответствии с аналитической концепцией (analitic conception of index-number) рассматривается как средняя величина, характеризующая интегральное (обобщенное) изменение индивидуальных при- знаков статистической совокупности. Аналитическая концепция используется в индексной практике, когда на результаты социально-экономических анализов (международные сопоставления) оказывают влияние как величина индивидуального признака (уровень цен товаров-представителей), так и выбор системы взвешивания (структура ВНП (gross national product) соизмеряемой страны, или страны-соизмерителя). Синтетическая концепция индексной теории (synthetic conception of index-number) - это математическая трактовка сводного индекса как средней величины, занимающей центральное положение в ряду распределения (frequnecy distribution). Сводный индекс строится в соответствии с синтетической концепцией, когда для экономического анализа важно знать не только величину случайного признака (изменение уровня цен за произвольно выбранный период), но и частоту его проявления.English-Russian explanatory dictionary of the external economic terms > index-number applies to international comparison
