международные количественные сопоставления валового внутреннего продукта.В соответствии с методологической концепцией Проекта международных сопоставлений ООН (International Comparison Programme) реальная величина валового внутреннего продукта—общепризнанного соизмерителя уровня экономического развития зависит от двух факторов: объема конечных расходов нации во внутренних текущих ценах и величины паритета покупательной способности валют (purchasing power parities). Сравнение стоимостных национальных объемов ВВП сводится к унификации их смыслового содержания путем обобщения данных СНС (System of National Accounts) по единым товарным номенклатурам и классификаторам. Особенно трудоемкой и дорогостоящей работой является определение паритета покупательной способности валют. Этот международный индекс исчисляется на основе материалов специальных статистических обследований об уровнях национальных цен на индивидуальные товары и услуги.
