Nota d'usoNell'inglese di tutti i giorni, quando si parla di ernia al disco, normalmente non si usa la parola “hernia”, ma l'espressione “slipped disc”: Ho un'ernia al disco, I've got a slipped disc. In ambito medico-scientifico, il termine corretto è “herniated disc”. Quando il sostantivo “hernia” è utilizzato da solo indica di solito un'ernia inguinale. -
