теплотворная способность топлива- количество теплоты выделяющееся при полном сжигании единичного количества топлива. Брутто, или высшая теплотворная способность, имеет место в том случае, когда все продукты сгорания охлаждаются до температуры, имевшей место до начала сгорания. В отличие от высшей теплотворной способности нетто, или низшая теплотворная способность, оценивается путем вычитания скрытой теплоты испарения водяного пара, образующегося при испарении воды за счет водорода, всегда содержащегося в топливе.
