Место в помещении фондовой или товарной биржи, биржи финансовых фьючерсов и опционов, где ведется торг определенным видом ценных бумаг, финансовых фьючерсов или биржевых товаров. Часто имеется в виду место, где сделки по конкретным товарам ведутся методом свободного биржевого торга (ореп outcry) (см.: London International Financial Futures and Options Exchange (Лондонская международная биржа финансовых фьючерсов и опционов); callover (сбор)). Член биржи, имеющий разрешение на проведение сделок в торговом зале, но желающий остаться анонимным, может прибегнуть для совершения сделок к услугам брокера в торговом зале (pit broker).
