Ḥull.95a הוה יתיב במ׳וכ׳ was sitting by the ford of, v. אִישְׁתַּטִּית. Ib.b בדיק במ׳ made the readiness of a ferry-boat a foreboding test (whether it was auspicious to undertake the journey).
