(заглавие басни И. А. Крылова - 1813 г.) Demjans Fischsuppe (Titel einer Fabel von I. Krylow. Übers. R. Bächtold). Demjan bewirtet seinen Nachbarn Foka mit Fischsuppe. Der Gast ist schon satt und mag keine Suppe mehr, aber Demjan lässt nicht locker und nötigt ihm wieder "noch einen Teller" auf, so dass Foka endlich das Haus seines Gastgebers fluchtartig verlässt. Der Ausdruck bedeutet demnach svw. etw., was einem allzu aufdringlich angeboten wird.
