    (ROE)
    фін., бухг. коефіцієнт окупності акціонерного капіталу; прибуток на акціонерний капітал
    фінансовий показник, що встановлює відношення величини операційного прибутку за відрахуванням податку (operating profit after tax) до величини власного капіталу (shareholders' equity); має таку формулу підрахунку:
    return on equity = operating profit after tax ÷ shareholders' equity
    ♦ за цим коефіцієнтом оцінюються оперативна діяльність підприємства та прибутковість (profitability¹) капіталу акціонерів (shareholder); якщо сума операційного прибутку за відрахуванням податку дорівнює 30 тис. грн, а сума власного капіталу 200 тис. грн, цей показник обчислюється так:
    30 000 ÷ 200 000 = 15%,
    отже, окупність дорівнює 15 %; чим вищий відсоток, тим більша окупність капіталу акціонерів і тим привабливішими є акції (share²) підприємства

    фінансовий показник, що встановлює відношення загальної суми зобов'язань (total liabilities) до акціонерного капіталу (shareholders' equity); має таку формулу підрахунку:
    debt-equity ratio = total liabilities ÷ shareholders' equity
    ♦ за цим коефіцієнтом визначається стан заборгованості підприємства; чим нижче значення коефіцієнта, тим кращий фінансовий стан та платоспроможність (solvency) підприємства; він свідчить про те, наскільки підприємство покладається на позичковий капітал (debt finance) для фінансування своєї діяльності

    фін., бірж. прибуток на акцію; прибуток в розрахунку на акцію показник, що встановлює відношення величини чистого прибутку (net profit) до кількості звичайних акцій (ordinary share), випущених акціонерним підприємством (joint stock company); має таку формулу підрахунку:
    earnings per share = net profit ÷ number of ordinary shares
