Электропорация, электротрансформация — метод для прямого переноса макромолекул (ДНК) в клетки путем пробивания клеточных мембран короткими (1 мсек) электрическими импульсами. Поры образуются лишь на короткое время, но молекулы ДНК успевают проникнуть в клетку. Они могут оставаться в цитоплазме или ядре и быстро деградировать, но могут также ковалентно интегрировать в геном ядра или органеллы.
