the Druids — друиды, жрецы у древних кельтов. По преданию, именно по их велению был воздвигнут Стоунхендж. Если учесть, что по свидетельству античных авторов их могущество было беспредельным, то такое предположение в те времена представлялось весьма правдоподобным. Легенда наделила их чудодейственными способностями.
