3 cashe
компј. кеш. Дел од меморијата резервиран за чување на често користени податоци или програмски операции до кои процесорот има многу побрз пристап отколку до тврдиот диск. Кеш меморијата може да се наоѓа во РАм меморијата или на тврдиот диск, а се движи од 16-128 КБ кај 386 плочи, кај 486 плочи од 128-512 КБ и кај Пентиум плочи од 128-1024 КБ. Количината на кеш меморијата што ќе ја користите зависи од РАм меморијата и тоа во однос 4мБ/64 КБ односно, ако имате 4 мБ РАм меморија, од 128 КБ кеш меморија, само 64 КБ ви стојат на располагање, другите 64 КБ се деселектирани и не се користат. компј. услужен програм за управување со фонтови. Помошен програм, најчесто дел од програми за обработка на текст и персонално издателство. Служи за префрлање на фонтови од тврдиот диск во РАм меморијата на дискот. Види hard disk, random-access memory.
