Till. to Ps. 7 v. טֶרֶף. 2) (ritual law) an animal afflicted with a ( fatal) organic disease, the discovery of which, after slaughtering, makes it forbidden, trefah, (of persons, m.) one having a fatal organic disease (the killing of whom would not be considered murder before the law).
