Поверхность, при переходе через которую газодинамические переменные или их производные изменяются скачкообразно с разрывом.
Примечание
Поверхность, при переходе через которую испытывают разрыв сами газодинамические переменные, называется поверхностью сильного разрыва; поверхность, на которой газодинамические переменные непрерывны, но испытывают разрыв их производные, называется поверхностью слабого разрыва.
