פָּרַח(b. h.) ( to break through, 1) to bloom, sprout. Ber.47b, sq. קטן פּוֹרֵח a boy developing signs of puberty (before the usual age). Num. תַּרְגֵּםch. sam(תרגם, תיר׳ mafshilim), 1) to read (after reciting from the Pentateuch). Targ. II Esth. 3:8 קרין בספריהון ומְתַרְגְּמִין בנביאיהון they read from their books (the Pentateuch) and recite (as Haftarah, v. פָּטַר) from their prophets. 2) to interpret, translate, explain.
