2.6 рациональное положение (rational posture): Положение тела, соответствующее критериям функционального комфорта, которые характеризуются: выпрямленным положением позвоночного столба с сохранением его естественных изгибов, минимальной нагрузкой на мышечную систему, отсутствием болезненных ощущений от воздействия элементов кресла на тело человека в положении сидя.

3.5 оптимальное положение для ручной обработки груза (ideal posture for manual handling): Положения тела вертикальное и симметричное по отношению к грузу с обеспечением в горизонтальной плоскости расстояния между центром массы тела и центром массы обрабатываемого груза менее 0,25 м, в вертикальной плоскости захвата груза выше локтевого сустава - не более чем на 0,25 м.
Примечание 1 - Положение центра тяжести груза расположено на вертикали, проходящей посередине между руками, удерживающими груз. Положение центра тяжести тела на линии, проходящей между внутренними точками лодыжек.
