crosslinking agents, crosslinkers[лат. agens (agentis) — действующий]1) вещества, способные необратимо превращать (сшивать) молекулы полимеров (см. полимеры) или олигомеров (см. олигомеры) в твердые неплавкие и нерастворимые сетчатые полимеры. С.а. резко уменьшают способность полимеров к необратимым деформациям и набуханию в растворителях, повышают их прочность, теплостойкость и химическую стойкость. С.а. реагируют с содержащимися в молекулах полимеров и олигомеров функциональными группами, непредельными связями (вулканизация каучуков) или основной цепью полимера (сшивание полиэтилена и сополимеров этилена с пропиленом). Отходы потребления и промышленные отходы, пригодные к дальнейшей переработке (вторичное полимерное сырье), подвергают модификации путем обработки такими С.а., как пероксидами (напр., пероксидом дикумила, малеиновым ангидридом, кремний-органическими жидкостями и др.);2) вещества, способные сшивать между собой биологические макромолекулы в клетке, напр. лектины (см. лектины), которые способствуют образованию поперечных связей между молекулами гликопротеидов клеточной поверхности;3) вещества, используемые для искусственного сшивания биологических молекул между собой; напр., формальдегид, с помощью которого осуществляют сшивание ДНК с контактирующими с ней in vivo белками;4) химические соединения, обеспечивающие иммобилизацию белков и клеток (см. иммобилизация; иммобилизация бактерий; иммобилизованный фермент).Толковый биотехнологический словарь.
