Aujourd'hui on utilise l'expression dans tout appel à la nation, comme dans l'exemple suivant: Thinking about becoming a nurse? Call this number now, your country needs you ("La carrière d'infirmière vous intéresse? Composez ce numéro dès maintenant, le pays a besoin de vous.").
