Глагол + сложное дополнение, включающее прилагательное1) Глаголы believe, consider, declare, find, judge, keep, prefer, pronounce, report, strike, suppose, think могут присоединять сложное дополнение (Complex object), включающее прилагательное.I believe it possible — Я верю, что это возможно.
He considers her intelligent —
She kept us busy —
The fire kept us warm —
Например, глаголы dye, colour и paint употребляются в данной конструкции только с прилагательными, обозначающими цвет (можно сказать She painted the house red — Она покрасила дом в красный цвет, но нельзя сказать * She painted the house beautiful). They pumped the well dry — Они выкачали всю воду из колодца.
We ground the corn small/fine —
•— Глаголы, выражающие знание, мнение, суждение в конструкции со сложным дополнением/подлежащим см. know smb to be smth / be known to be smth
